CEED 2027 Important Dates: Overview

The dates are based on the published IIT Bombay schedule. Candidates should visit the official website for any revisions or additional instructions.

CEED 2027 Registration Dates

Online registration for CEED 2027 began on 1 October 2026. Candidates can submit their application with the regular registration fee until 31 October 2026.

Those who miss the regular deadline can register with the applicable late fee until 6 November 2026 at 5:00 PM. The registration portal is scheduled to close after this deadline unless an official extension is announced.

Candidates should verify their eligibility, prepare the required documents and complete the fee payment before the relevant deadline.

CEED 2027 Admit Card Date

The CEED 2027 admit card will be available for download from 1 January 2027 at 1:00 PM.

Candidates should download the admit card through the official candidate portal and verify their name, registration details, photograph, examination centre and examination instructions.

A printed copy of the admit card is required at the examination centre. Candidates should check the official exam-day instructions for the identity documents and other requirements that must be carried.

CEED 2027 Exam Date and Time

CEED 2027 is scheduled for Sunday, 17 January 2027, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

The examination is conducted at designated test centres. Candidates should confirm the examination centre and reporting instructions on their admit cards and reach the centre with sufficient time for verification.

Requests to change the examination date or time will not be considered under the published schedule.

CEED 2027 Answer Key Dates

IIT Bombay has announced the following schedule for the Part A answer-key process.

Candidates can review the draft answer key and their recorded Part A responses when these are released. If they identify a discrepancy, they should follow the official process for submitting comments within the prescribed window.

The final answer key for Part A is scheduled for release on 26 January 2027 at 5:00 PM.

CEED 2027 Part A Cut-off Date

The announcement of the cut-off marks for Part A is scheduled for 4 February 2027.

The Part A cut-off determines which candidates qualify for evaluation of Part B under the official examination rules. Candidates should consult the information brochure for details of the qualifying criteria and the calculation of the final CEED score.

Meeting the Part A cut-off alone does not constitute a final CEED qualification or guarantee admission.

CEED 2027 Result Date

The CEED 2027 result is scheduled to be declared on 3 March 2027.

Candidates can check their result through the official CEED website using their examination login credentials. The scorecard download window begins on 10 March 2027 and ends on 31 July 2027.

Candidates should download and save their scorecards during the permitted period. The CEED scorecard is valid for one year from the date of result declaration.

Qualifying CEED does not guarantee admission to an M.Des. or Ph.D. programme. Candidates must apply separately to their preferred institutes and satisfy any additional selection requirements, including interviews or tests where applicable.

CEED 2027 Admission Dates

Unlike a centralised undergraduate seat-allocation process, CEED does not have one common admission calendar for all M.Des. and Ph.D. programmes.

After the result is declared, candidates should visit the official websites of the participating institutes to check programme-specific application deadlines, eligibility rules, interview schedules, portfolio requirements and selection procedures.

Candidates should maintain a separate calendar for every institution to which they intend to apply.
