According to the official schedule, the CEED 2027 result is scheduled to be declared on 3 March 2027. Scorecard downloads will begin on 10 March 2027 and remain available until 31 July 2027.

CEED 2027 Scorecard: What Does It Contain?

The scorecard provides the marks and qualification details made available under the official CEED result process.

According to the information brochure:

  • Part A marks are displayed for all candidates who successfully appear for the examination.

  • Part B marks are displayed only for candidates shortlisted for Part B evaluation.

  • All shortlisted candidates receive a rank.

  • The final score is calculated using the official weighting formula.

Candidates should preserve their scorecard for admission applications. The scorecard cannot be used as proof of date of birth, category or disability status; separate supporting documents are required where applicable.

CEED 2027 Marks and Final Score Calculation

The final CEED score is calculated using Part A and Part B marks as follows:

Final Score = 0.25 × Part A Marks + 0.75 × Part B Marks

Part A is used to shortlist candidates for Part B evaluation. Only candidates who meet the applicable Part A cut-off have their Part B answer books evaluated.

Part B is assessed subjectively according to the criteria specified in the questions. There is no model solution for these questions.

The final CEED score reflects the prescribed weighting of both parts and is used according to the eligibility and selection requirements of participating institutions.

CEED 2027 Rank List and Qualification Status

Candidates who are shortlisted for Part B evaluation receive a rank according to the official evaluation rules.

Qualification status and rank should be distinguished from admission eligibility. A candidate may qualify CEED but still need to meet the specific academic requirements of the M.Des. or Ph.D. programme they wish to pursue.

Rank, category, academic qualifications, institute-specific eligibility and additional selection criteria can all affect admission decisions.

CEED 2027 Scorecard Validity

The CEED 2027 scorecard is valid for one year from the date of result declaration, according to the official brochure.

Candidates should note that the scorecard is available for download only until 31 July 2027. After this deadline, it will no longer be available for download from the candidate portal.

The digital copy of the scorecard will be maintained by the CEED office for five years from the date of issue, as specified in the official brochure.

Candidates should download and save their scorecards during the permitted period.

Can Candidates Request Re-evaluation of CEED Results?

The official CEED 2027 rules do not provide for re-evaluation or re-totalling of Part A or Part B. Requests for re-evaluation will not be entertained.

Part B answer books are evaluated holistically using the criteria mentioned in the questions, and evaluated Part B booklets are not shared with candidates. Answer booklets are preserved for only three months from the date of result declaration.

Candidates should review the official evaluation rules before raising any score-related query.

What Happens After the CEED 2027 Result?

After receiving their scorecards, candidates should identify M.Des. or Ph.D. programmes that accept CEED scores and check the admission requirements of each institution.

The next steps may include:

  • Completing a separate application to the chosen institution.

  • Meeting programme-specific academic eligibility requirements.

  • Submitting academic records, certificates and other documents.

  • Appearing for interviews, portfolio assessments, additional tests or other selection rounds where required.

  • Completing the institution's admission formalities if selected.

CEED qualification does not guarantee admission. Each institution determines its selection process, programme eligibility and admission schedule.
