After IIT Bombay publishes the draft answer key, candidates can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official CEED 2027 website.

2. Open the answer-key or downloads section.

3. Download the published Part A draft answer key and master question paper.

4. Log in to the candidate portal to access the Part A response sheet.

5. Match each response with the corresponding question ID in the master question paper.

6. Save a copy of the answer key and response sheet for reference.

The final answer key is not the final CEED result. The overall score and qualification status are determined through the official evaluation process, which also includes the subjective assessment of Part B for candidates shortlisted through Part A.

Is There an Answer Key for CEED Part B?

The official answer-key schedule covers Part A. Part B consists of five subjective questions assessing design, drawing and writing skills, including creativity, form sensitivity, visual sensitivity and problem identification.

Part B does not have conventional model answers. Its answer books are evaluated holistically according to the criteria specified in the questions, so candidates should not expect a standard objective answer key for this part.

How to Calculate Your Expected CEED Score

Candidates can use the final Part A answer key and their saved response sheet to review Part A performance. The official marking scheme includes different rules for Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Multiple Select Questions (MSQ).

However, the Part A score alone does not determine the final CEED score. Only candidates shortlisted through the Part A cut-off have their Part B answer books evaluated.

The final score is calculated using the official formula:

Final Score = 0.25 × Part A Marks + 0.75 × Part B Marks

A self-calculated score is only an estimate and should not be treated as the final result or a guarantee of admission.
