NATA 2027 status (checked 15 October 2026): The Council of Architecture has not yet released the NATA 2027 information brochure. Wherever this page refers to NATA 2026, the information is from the previous cycle and is given for reference only. It may change for 2027.

Key Takeaways

  • The NATA 2026 brochure did not mention an answer key or objection process.

  • Results come as statements of marks and a final scorecard.

  • Unofficial "answer keys" are not reliable.

NATA 2027 Answer Key

Many entrance exams publish provisional answer keys and allow objections before declaring results. NATA follows a different system. The NATA 2026 information brochure does not mention a provisional answer key, a response sheet or an objection process.

Is There an Official NATA Answer Key?

Based on the 2026 brochure, no official answer key was announced. Results were released as statements of marks and a final scorecard through the candidate login on nata.in.

If the Council of Architecture introduces an answer key, response sheet or objection facility for NATA 2027, Eduspray will update this page with the official link, dates and procedure.

How NATA scores worked in 2026: Phase 1, Phase 2, qualifying rule and validity

Why NATA Has No Conventional Answer Key

  • Part A is a drawing and composition test, where answers are creative work rather than fixed options.

  • Part B is a computer-based adaptive test, so candidates may receive different questions.

These points describe the test format; the brochure itself does not explain the absence of an answer key.

Unofficial Answer Keys

Coaching institutes or websites sometimes publish "answer keys" or memory-based questions. These are not official and should not be used to estimate your final NATA score.

What Candidates Can Do Instead

  • Download your statement of marks for each attempt from your nata.in login.

  • Check the final scorecard carefully once results are declared.

  • Contact the official NATA helpdesk for any score-related query.

Key Takeaways

  • In 2026, there was no minimum raw score to qualify.

  • A non-zero percentile on the final scorecard meant a candidate qualified.

  • NATA 2026 scores were valid for the 2026–27 session.

NATA 2027 Result

NATA results are published on the official website, nata.in. Candidates can download their statements of marks and final scorecard from their login. The NATA 2027 result dates have not been announced.

  1. Visit nata.in.

  2. Log in with your registered username and password.

How NATA scores worked in 2026: Phase 1, Phase 2, qualifying rule and validity

Admitting authorities could use either the best raw score or the percentile when preparing their merit lists.

NATA Qualifying Criteria

In 2026, no minimum raw score was prescribed for qualifying. A candidate qualified if the final scorecard showed a non-zero percentile.

NATA Score Validity

NATA 2026 scores were valid for the 2026–27 academic session. The 2026 brochure also set rules on earlier scores. For example, a valid NATA 2025 score remained usable in 2026–27 only if the candidate had not been admitted using it and did not take NATA 2026; taking two NATA 2026 attempts made the 2025 score invalid. The NATA 2027 validity rules will be confirmed in the new brochure.

Qualifying Score vs Admission Cutoff

Qualifying NATA only makes a candidate eligible to be considered. Each state authority or institute prepares its own merit list and closing scores, which can be much higher than the qualifying level. Eduspray publishes cutoff information only from official sources.

What Happens After the NATA Result?

  • Register with the state counselling authorities and institutes you want to apply to.

  • Keep your scorecard and original documents ready for verification.

  • Follow each authority's schedule for merit lists, choice filling and seat allotment.

Read more: NATA Counselling and Admission.

Can NATA Scores Be Revalued?

The 2026 brochure does not describe a revaluation process. The Council's records were retained for only 90 days after results were declared, so any query should be raised promptly through the official helpdesk.

Pro Tip: Qualifying is only the first step. Track the merit lists of the authorities you apply to, as their closing scores can be much higher.
