SNAP 2026 Marking Scheme

SNAP 2026 follows a straightforward marking system:

  • Correct answer: +1 mark

  • Incorrect answer: −0.25 mark

  • Unattempted question: No marks awarded or deducted

Each question has four response options. Because negative marking applies, candidates should balance speed with accuracy rather than attempt every question through blind guessing.

SNAP 2026 Exam Duration and Time Management

Candidates receive 60 minutes to answer all 60 questions. There is no separate fixed time limit for each section, so candidates can distribute their time according to their strengths and question difficulty.

A practical approach is to attempt familiar questions first, avoid spending too long on a difficult problem, and return to marked questions if time remains. Candidates should test different section orders during mock examinations before deciding on a strategy.

Can Candidates Take SNAP 2026 More Than Once?

Yes. Candidates can appear for up to three SNAP tests scheduled on December 13, December 19 and December 26, 2026. When a candidate takes multiple tests, the higher score is considered for the final percentile according to the official SNAP rules.

Candidates should review the official instructions for the applicable scoring and test administration rules before selecting multiple attempts.

What Is New in the SNAP 2026 Exam Pattern?

The key change in SNAP 2026 is the addition of the Ethics, Morality and Values section, which carries 10 questions and 10 marks. Candidates preparing with older study materials should update their preparation plan to include this section along with English, reasoning and quantitative aptitude.
