About SNAP

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP 2026) is a national-level, computer-based management entrance exam. It serves as the gateway for admissions into MBA and postgraduate management programs across 17 participating Symbiosis institutes.

SNAP 2026

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2026 is a national-level entrance examination conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU) for admission to selected Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes offered by its participating institutes. The SNAP 2026 score is valid for admission to the applicable programmes for the 2027–28 academic session.

The examination evaluates candidates across English, analytical and logical reasoning, quantitative skills, and other areas specified in the official test structure. Candidates can appear for up to three SNAP tests, and the highest score is considered for the final percentile calculation.

SNAP is the first stage of the admission process. Candidates shortlisted by a participating institute must also complete the institute-specific selection process, which includes Group Exercise and Personal Interaction (GE-PI), as applicable.

Certain specialised MBA programmes may have additional academic qualifications or work-experience requirements. Candidates must verify the specific eligibility criteria of each institute and programme before applying.

SNAP 2026 Registration Fee

Candidates must pay the SNAP examination registration fee and the separate programme registration fee for the MBA programmes they wish to apply for.

Amount

SNAP test registration

₹2,550 per test

Programme registration

₹1,000 per programme

Applicable taxes

Extra, where applicable

Both fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Paying the SNAP test fee alone does not complete the application for a particular MBA programme. Applicants must select their preferred programmes and pay the corresponding programme registration fees.

SNAP 2026 Participating Institutes

SNAP scores are used for admission to selected MBA programmes offered by participating institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). These include institutes located in cities such as Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nashik, Nagpur and Noida.

Programmes and specialisations vary by institute and may include areas such as marketing, finance, human resources, international business, operations, business analytics, information technology and other management disciplines.

Candidates should check the official SNAP website and the respective institute websites to confirm which programmes require SNAP 2026 scores and to review their admission criteria.

SNAP 2026 Admission Process

The SNAP admission process generally involves the following steps:

  1. Register for SNAP 2026 and pay the test registration fee.

  2. Select the preferred MBA programmes and pay the separate programme registration fees.

  3. Appear for the selected SNAP test or tests.

  4. Check the result and overall percentile after its declaration.

  5. Participate in the Group Exercise and Personal Interaction (GE-PI) process if shortlisted by an institute.

  6. Check the institute's merit list and complete admission formalities if selected.

Shortlisting cut-offs and further selection requirements may differ by programme and institute. A high SNAP score does not guarantee admission.

Official Website and Notifications

Candidates should visit the official SNAP website for registration, the latest notifications, eligibility requirements, examination instructions, results and admission updates. The official website is the primary source for verifying dates, fees and programme-specific requirements.
