CSIR NET Age Limit and Relaxation
The age limit in CSIR NET applies only to the Junior Research Fellowship. There is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor eligibility or for PhD admission.

Important: The total age relaxation on all grounds combined cannot exceed 5 years under any circumstances. Research carried out towards completing a graduation or postgraduation degree does not count as research experience.
