How to Check the UCEED 2027 Result

Candidates can follow these steps when the result becomes available.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Step 2: Open the Results Section

Select the result link or the relevant option on the official website to access the candidate login portal.

Step 3: Log In to Your Candidate Account

Enter the registered login credentials created during UCEED registration.

Step 4: View Your Result

Check the score and qualification information displayed on the candidate portal.

Step 5: Download the Scorecard

Save the scorecard within the permitted download window. The download period begins on 10 March 2027 and ends on 31 July 2027.

UCEED 2027 Scorecard

The scorecard provides information about a candidate's performance in the examination. Its contents depend on whether the candidate clears the applicable evaluation criteria for Part A and Part B.

According to the official UCEED 2027 result rules:

• Every candidate who appeared for UCEED receives a scorecard containing the Part A score.

• Candidates who clear the Part A criterion also receive their Part B score and total score.

• Candidates who satisfy the applicable Part B qualification criterion are marked as qualified and receive a rank or ranks under the relevant category.

IIT Bombay does not issue hard copies of the UCEED scorecard by post or email. Candidates must download it from the official website during the permitted period.

UCEED 2027 Rank List

The UCEED rank list is prepared according to the official qualification and evaluation criteria.

Candidates must qualify the applicable criteria for both Part A and Part B to be considered qualified in UCEED 2027 and receive a rank. The rank list is based on the total marks obtained in Part A and Part B.

If candidates obtain equal total marks, the prescribed tie-breaking rules are applied in order:

1. Higher marks in Part B.

2. If the tie remains, higher marks in Section 2 of Part A.

3. If the tie remains, higher marks in Section 1 of Part A.

4. If the tie still remains, the candidates receive the same rank.

What Does UCEED Qualifying Status Mean?

A candidate's qualification status indicates whether the relevant examination criteria have been met. Candidates who qualify and receive a rank can proceed to the B.Des. admission application process, provided they also fulfil the institute-specific eligibility requirements.

However, qualifying UCEED does not guarantee admission to a particular institute. Seat allocation depends on the candidate's rank, category, institute preferences, subject eligibility and available seats.

What Happens After the UCEED 2027 Result?

The B.Des. application process for the seven participating institutes is scheduled to begin on 15 March 2027.

Candidates who are eligible to participate must complete the separate B.Des. application process and select their preferred institutes according to the official instructions.

Seat allocation is conducted according to the published joint admission schedule. Candidates should monitor the announcement dates, seat acceptance fee deadlines, withdrawal rules and subsequent admission rounds.

Important documents may include the UCEED scorecard, Class 12 marksheets or certificates, valid category certificates where applicable, and other documents specified in the admission instructions.
