How the Merit List Is Prepared
Separate Prelims merit lists are prepared for each category (General, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD) and for Overseas candidates.
The Prelims score is used only for shortlisting and is not carried forward.
The final merit list is prepared category-wise based on the DAT Mains score.
Ties are resolved using a tie-break policy that NID will announce.
Seats are allotted strictly by merit and availability in each category.
Scorecards
Prelims and Mains scorecards are available on the website for only 20 days after each result, and NID does not send separate scorecards. Scores are valid only for admission in 2027-28.
