NEET PG 2027 and NExT: What to Expect
Status (as of 17 October 2026): NBEMS has not announced NEET PG 2027 dates. The National Exit Test (NExT) has not replaced NEET PG yet.
NEET PG 2027: What We Know
No official date or information bulletin for NEET PG 2027 has been released.
In 2026, NBEMS announced the tentative exam date in January (as reported) and released the information bulletin on 1 July for the 30 August exam.

What About NExT?
The National Exit Test (NExT) is planned under the NMC Act to eventually serve as the licensing exam and the basis for PG admissions. As reported in January 2026, the NMC Chairman said NExT would be implemented only after addressing the concerns of all stakeholders, in about 2–3 years. Until NExT is notified, NEET PG continues as the entrance exam for MD/MS/PG Diploma and DNB admissions.
